Taking it Outside - MNHockeyTv swings into high gear
St. Louis Park, MN - The MNHockey.Tv opened season two with a major match-up featuring top ranked Edina and Andover in an instant classic from Braemar Arena. This year’s high school hockey landscape will prove to have plenty of depth and talent of which a number of high school hockey teams are in the mix for the coveted Minnesota State High School Girls and Boys Hockey championship.
The MNHockey.Tv has evolved to what it is today after setting it’s roots that originated with MyFoxHockey.com in the 2007-2008 season. It was a concept that was ahead of its time. The service developed through a competitive market of live streaming.
Our production teams will cued up in two locations Friday night featuring an outdoor game at the St. Louis Park Rec Center’s ROC. The Benilde-St. Margaret’s Red Knights, fresh off their convincing 6-3 win over the No. 1A Breck Mustangs will be tested further tonight against the No. 1AA Andover Huskies (2-0) enter the game with wins over Edina (1-0) and Anoka/Spring Lake Park (7-1). Game time is 7pm.
The second game will open at 7pm as well and features the Edina Hornets (0-1) and Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders (0-1). Returning to action after a well played 1-0 loss to Andover, Edina will look to get on the winning track against the Raiders. The Raiders were stopped by the Blake Bears (7-3) in their opener.
With a 2019-202 schedule that is packed with top teams and games, the MNHockey.Tv will provide live streaming services for six teams, now known here as ‘The Original 6’. Coverage includes select Academy of Holy Angels boys and girls games. Both varsity and junior varsity homes boys games and girls varsity home games for Benilde-St. Margaret’s will lbe produced and live streamed by our MNHockey.Tv crews.
Our team is back for another year of Edina boys and girls varsity home games and will continue to produce home games for Eden Prairie and Minnetonka boys. Additionally, our play-by-play services will be utilized for all home games at the Hopkins Pavilion that will feature the live automated streaming system.
Exclusive coverage tournaments and events include the American Family Insurance North-South Classic streams live on the MNHockey.Tv and it is loaded with No.1 AA Eden Prairie, No. 2AA BSM, No. 3A Hermantown, and Brainerd. Our team will descend upon Braemar Arena to deliver the Tradition Edina Holiday Classic and what always proves to be six memorable games featuring Eden Prairie, Edina, Elk River, and Grand Rapids. The American Family Insurance Catholic Boys Hockey Showcase will playout the same weekend on Saturday, December 21st at the TRIA rink. Four games stream exclusive on the MNHockey.Tv featuring Totino-Grace vs St. Cloud Cathedral, Academy of Holy Angels vs Holy Family Catholic, Benilde-St. Margaret’s vs Cretin-Derham Hall, and Hil-Murray vs St. Thomas Academy.
Other events that will be covered exclusive on the MNHockey.Tv included the jointly produced Minnesota Wild and Minnesota Hockey Mite Jamboree from the Xcel Energy Center on Sunday, December 22nd, and Monday, December 30th. The Tradition in the Park Holiday Classic features 16 teams and two locations. The tournament has expanded to include two sites, the St. Louis Park Rec Center and Plymouth Ice Center. Known as the top girls hockey tournament in Minnesota, The Walser tournament in Edina will also stream live on the MNHockey.Tv
