The DinoMights mission is to equip urban youth with the ability to develop in physical, social, academic, and spiritual excellence. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the DinoMights program. The results of the program speak for themselves as it boasts an 86% graduation rate for its participants since 1995 which is 30% higher than their peers over the same time.
The Detroit Ice Dreams were formed in 2014 and founded by a former Detroit based inner city hockey player who began playing at Jack Adams Memorial Arena. He went on to play professional hockey overseas. Upon retirement, he wanted to give players a chance to enjoy hockey and the benefits that come along with it that are different from what is exposed in a typical neighborhood.
Free Will donations are available to the DinoMIghts and accepted at Eventbrite, Welcome Table, or online here.
