Common questions answered regarding the technology and other inquiries.
Q: What Pass Should I buy?
A: We have different types of passes designed to fit your needs that include:
• Network Season Pass for all youth and high school games streamed on MNHockey.Tv.
• High School Hockey Season Pass for all network boys and girls high school games.
• Youth Hockey Season Pass for all network youth games, tournaments, and playoffs.
• Tournament Pass is weekend specific to youth and high school-related games.

Q: How long does my Season Pass Last for?
A: The season pass runs the calendar year beginning September 1st and runs through August 31st the following year.
All games that are contained in that pass will be available on demand for that time.
Q: How do I purchase a single game?
A: Once you get to the package page, you will see individual game boxes below.
Select the game you would like to view and then click it. Once that is opened you will have buttons that allow for single games or package purchases. If there are a large number of games in the package, you can select the search spyglass in the middle right corner of the package page. Enter your team name and their games will appear for you to select. Click here to view an image example.
Q: How do I purchase a season or tournament pass?
A: Click the link from the website or social media post and you will find a page that looks like this.
To purchase the package, click buy package. To purchase a single game, click the individual game box and select the single game option. Register for an account by entering your email address and other information that is requested. Enter your credit card information or voucher code and you will be directed to the live game page. Click the play button to view the game. Click here to view an image example.
Q: Why do I need to select my single game to view instead of just the arena?
A: One of the benefits of our system is the games are individual and specific to the team.
There is no need to scroll through long files to get you your game. We also have single games as MNHockey.Tv shares revenue with various leagues and teams. This allows us to know who is purchasing what games and for our accounting to credit the appropriate partner on behalf of your purchase.
Q: I can’t get logged into my account
A: It is always good practice to keep your email address and password for the account and even save it in your computer.
If you are struggling to log in, always log in under email which is the third option on the dialogue page. Click here to view an example.
Q: How many can watch games at the same time?
A: Our system allows for one device at a time to watch a game.
If someone else is watching a game under your login, you will be frozen and able to watch if you hit play. When hitting play it will freeze the other viewers. The easiest way to avoid this is to have the other person purchase the game or package, or watch it later on demand.
Q: Something went wrong
A: Audio issues or broadcast quality
Our broadcast services allow for announcers to commentate on games. Our entire system is reliant on the cloud to produce videos and games. On rare occasions, the internet at the arenas can have issues.
Q: My game is buffering or is lagging.
A: We install cameras at venues that require speed.
Typically the buffering is a result of the network speed on the viewing end. If you are experiencing buffering issues, hit pause on your player and wait one-two minutes, and hit play again and that will help with the problem. Please contact us at info@youthsportsplus to report the issue.
Q: The stream stopped before the game was completed
A: Our cameras are not on 24 hours a day and the team at MNHockey.Tv schedules the games.
In some cases, tournaments can go long and our team is not notified by the tournament manager. Other instances that can create issues are broken glass or an injury. If you are aware of a tournament that is running behind, please contact us at info@youthsportsplus to report the issue.
Q: Why aren’t all the tournament games being streamed and how do I know what ones will be in the package?
A: While we have a number of cameras installed, there are some venues where our service is not available.
In the tournament package description, a listing of the venues can be found that includes the games that are being streamed. Games that are streaming can be found in the package. If there is not a game in the package and you think it should be or was missed, please contact us at info@youthsportsplus to report the issue.
Q: Why are the games starting early/late?
A: Games are scheduled according to the published school district or youth association schedules.
Due to unforeseen circumstances if the rink location or if game times are changed we may not be made aware of the change.
Q: Why is the start time on the live stream different from the actual team/s schedule?
A: We begin the games 5-15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to allow ample time for viewers to get logged in and see that the cameras are live.
Q: Why are the games pay-per-view
A: YouthSportsPLUS and MNHockey.Tv have invested a large amount of money into the Minnesota Hockey market.
We are a Minnesota-based company that gives back an unprecedented amount of money to venues, teams, and communities. In order to bring us all the games we love, it requires a large support team along with the finest 4k camera systems in the world. We appreciate your support and it is an honor to partner with the communities of Minnesota.
